Course Overview
PL-400 is the technical certification for Dynamics 365 customer engagement developers. It replaced the earlier MB-400 exam and covers everything needed to extend CE apps and Power Platform with code. In this hands-on course you will design technical solutions, write C# plug-ins and custom APIs that run in the Dataverse event pipeline, and add client-side logic with JavaScript and the Client API. You will build Power Apps component framework (PCF) controls with TypeScript, create custom connectors, and integrate with external systems through the Dataverse Web API, Azure Functions, Service Bus and webhooks. The course also covers Power Fx, performance and security considerations, and application lifecycle management with solutions, pipelines and source control. Coding labs follow a realistic CE extension scenario, and the course ends with exam practice for PL-400.
